Override Conservation Events

How do I override my HōlHōm Price Response?

If you are receiving electricity prices from your smart meter and have set your Conservation Setting to something other than Max Comfort, your HōlHōm will automatically respond to increased electricity prices and adjust your temperature to save you money.  During a conservation event, the blue light will be on and you will see the word “CONSERVATION” under the current temperature on the thermostat home screen.  The yellow, orange or red light will also be on to indicate a high electricity price.

  • If you are too hot or cold, you can use ButtonUp_sm or ButtonDown_sm buttons from the home screen to set a new target temperature.
  • This will cause the blue light to go out, but the yellow, orange or red light will still be on to indicate the high electricity price is in effect.
